Pennsylvania College of Technology is among 357 institutions nationwide recognized in the Military Times’ 2025 Best for Vets: Colleges rankings. The selections are based on data collected from an extensive survey sent to colleges and universities throughout the country.

Nine students – representing a variety of majors – comprise the 2025 class of inductees to Pennsylvania College of Technology’s chapter of SALUTE, a national veterans honor society.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has been ranked the No. 1 school for innovation for the third consecutive year, No. 1 for veteran students for the second consecutive year and the No. 3 top public school in the Regional Colleges (North) classification by U.S. News & World Report for 2026. Penn College also moved from No. 5 in 2025 to the No. 4 school in 2026 among Regional Colleges (North) when all public and private colleges and universities are considered.

For the sixth straight year, Pennsylvania College of Technology has received “Guard-Friendly School” designation from an organization devoted to the Pennsylvania National Guard.

Two Army ROTC cadets at Pennsylvania College of Technology marked a milestone two days before receiving their baccalaureate degrees. MacKenzie L. Collins, of Pitman, New Jersey, and Michael J. Giordano, of Palmyra, were commissioned as second lieutenants and assigned to their Army component and branch.

The second annual Aviators Ball repeated the success of last year’s inaugural event, organized by the Student Veteran Organization and held at Penn College’s Lumley Aviation Center at the Williamsport Regional Airport in Montoursville. Among events toasting out the academic year, the semi-formal affair featured games, music, photo ops, food and Wildcat connections.
